PDO Threads

PDO Threads are an excellent alternative to facelifts, neck lifts, and other forms of skin tightening surgery. This minimally invasive procedure lifts the skin with minimal downtime. PDO threads are flexible and durable absorbable sutures.

 

Prior to the PDO thread procedure, a topical anesthetic is typically applied to make it as comfortable as possible. The threads are inserted using a long cannula underneath the skin. The threading process is repeated until the desired lift is achieved. Although the threads lift the skin, they do not fix severe skin laxity. 

 

In most cases, the PDO Thread treatment will take about two hours, and then you will resume your regular activities right away. It takes 6-9 months for the threads to dissolve, and the collagen produced by the skin stimulates cellular renewal, making it smoother, tighter, and more youthful.
